Contracted this company to do work for $19500. An ad-hoc situation occurred and I required more work to be done. A verbal contract was made of $25,000. The contractor asked for more money based on the verbal contract, however, after receiving more money ($16000) the person frustrated the contract by reverting back to the written contract. Words were exchanged and the contractor left the site unfinished and unsafe. I was contacted by the NSW department of fair trading and was told that public record showed he was infringed in the past for a similar situation. All I can say is avoid at all cost. The contractor is ONLY licensed for works under $20,000.
