A2B Interstate Removals

We dealt with A2B for the transportation of household contents from Sydney to Brisbane. The whole experience was terrible. When we paid for the removal costs three days before the move they charged us twice (an amount of $1900 overcharged!) we chased them for a refund of the overcharged amount for over three weeks and finally had to put in an unauthorised charge claim with our credit card provider to have the funds returned.
On the day we paid we confirmed our move time was 8 am, and we also had this in writing on the receipt from when we paid the deposit, we lived in a strata unit so we booked in this time with our building manager. On the day they hadn't showed up by 8.30 am so we called and were told that were never going to be there in the morning as they backload to had to unload the other people from the truck first. They have no concept of good customer service and any form of service stops when you've paid the money (before pick-up). The only thing they did right was a cheap price, and I guarantee it was not worth the trouble! When they went several days without being contactable (after the scheduled delivery date!), I had no choice but to call the local police to check to make sure they were still in business! I then went another 2 weeks stranded without my belongings (moving a full house interstate), before more trouble ensued when they finally arrived. It turned out to be one worker moving a whole house of furniture/boxes - it took over 4 hours, and by the end, the worker was injured too.

This company has more problems than can be described in this short space, in short, avoid at all costs.
