AAA Amos Joe Painting

I engaged this painter to quote me to paint the interior of our home. We were given and accepted a cash price quote, inc numbers of days (4-5), hours per day (7am to 4pm), number of workers (3) and a start / end date. The price was including paint though I ended up supplying it as we wanted Dulux wash n wear not professional. He then added more $$ to the quote to compensate for not buying the paint. They worked all day Monday, half a day Tuesday, all day Wednesday, 1.5hrs Thursday and then walked off site Friday. They kept leaving our site to do ‘other customers’... there was no base coat painting, no prep work, in general there was no structure or routine to how they painted and it was becoming all very confusing ... they didn’t cut in, they have missed many parts on walls, they have drops of paint on the floors & furniture throughout the house. Don’t go near these guys!
Not so much amateurs, but a total con.

When they quoted, Joe spoke about washing down with sugar soap, cleaning, 2 coats, Dulux paints, on & on.
Turned up with obvious generic paint in no-name containers, wiped down the surfaces to be painted with a damp cloth & painted straight away over the old paint, no rubbing back anywhere! ...read more

Absolutely do not use these painters ..... I paid for Dulux paint and certainly didnt get it !!! these painters ,painted directly OVER light switches and window openers !!! My windows also no longer open !!! Don't even get me started on the amount of paint they left on my carpet edges !!! As I said to Amos Joe a Kindergarten child paints with more skill than you guys .

Stay away. My home has been ruined by this hugely unprofessional man. He demands cash and uses unqualified staff. He left without finishing the work, paint is already peeling off the doors after only one month, colours are not as agreed, paint over my furniture and carports, cracks everywhere, only one coat instead of two, the dust left on a daily basis made us all sick, and to top it off he stole my own decking oil. I have since found out he is unlicensed and have taken the matter to the tribunal. Hope this man is put out of business.

Disgusted with the very very poor workmanship , windows painted with the screens being taken off , simple clicked remove the screens , this leaving large areas unpainted and those areas that were painted so sloppy that when I pointed out that kindergarten children paint better I was told I'm too fussy !!! Hinges locks and handles painted over , windows painted shut !!
Paint on leather lounges , floor boards and carpet where skirting boards were painted with complete disregard .
Poor attempts to bleed new wall colours into old to avoid painting the whole wall !!
Pay for two coats of dulux colours and receive a poor thin single coat of an nameless paint brand .
All this and demands for payment above what is stated on their quote , in fact demands for complete payment with work still outstanding!!!
People we work to hard for our money to have these painters ruin our homes !!!
