This firm was engaged by our managing agent to fix a broken pane of glass in our front door which was posing a safety and security issue. We were told by the person who booked the appointment that they could fix the glass on the spot and would attend mid morning. The two guys who turned up at 4pm were rude, never introduced themselves, informed us that they couldn't fix the glass and were only there to measure it up. The told us to go to Bunnings and board it up ourselves and that they had two other jobs to go to. Very poor customer service, very poor communication, misleading indications from the head office and all up a very bad experience. There is no situation in which we would ever use this firm again and I do not recommend that you do either.
I have subsequently been contacted by AAA Glass who acknowledged that the level of service was deficient and they agreed that there had been a breakdown in communication. The glass is yet to be fixed but I am now informed that it has been ordered and will be installed next week at some stage.
After 27 years in our house we finally broke a window. We rang the first Glass Company name that came to mind and were shocked by the quote so decided to "try local". Not only was the quote $150.00 cheaper for our small window, but they were friendly and helpful over the phone, arrived exactly on time and were quick, efficient and not the slightest bit intrusive. We highly reccommend them and hope they are still around in 27 years time should we break another window!
