AAAA Fairfield Park Boathouse

Overpriced, average food with terrible service. Complimented by a rude chef. Honestly don’t understand why people go here. They really need someone to come in and organise the service.

There was a 30 minute difference in wait time for my friends and I who ordered the same food just behind me in the line. Was shouted a rude ‘all I can say is sorry’ by a head cook who interrupted me when I questioned why it took so long to another staff member.

Honestly Fairfield Boathouse- never again!

Absolutely love the view, the surrounding bushland and the boats on the water...but be prepared to wait to place an order and get your food. The food is decent but overpriced. The scones are a must-try though.

yes there are queues and you waste some time. And service is not ace. But I love their range of food and their cooking/ culinary skills. Plus the ambience, the environment have few competitiors

Possibly one of the worst brunch experiences ever. After waiting in the wrong queue for 10 mins to order we waited in another queue, order breakfast only to be told we have to go back to the other queue for coffee or tea.

The food was cold. There was no available water without lining up again for a small glass. No cutlery without again waiting and asking.

The worst part about it all. You have to wait for your order, no matter the size, collect it from a counter and take it to your own seat whether up or downstairs. No table service. The waiters just cleared tables. Very, very disappointed. Never going back!!!  

really great for big hearty breakfasts or yummy scones with visitors, the boat hire is easy and fun. its a great place to go on a rainy day as they provide blankets if you get chilly and its much quieter. easy to ride to, child friendly. love the nostalgic charm as its totally genuine.
