I am only rating this company with Half a start because I cant give them a Negative rating.
We have been in our home now for 4 months, and have had more issues since moving in than we had while building. 4 Months and the Toilet still does not function. Update. We have now been in ourr home for 8 Months, and most of our walls now have plaster pathches all over them. This was only done when I told them i would seek Legal action. Unfortunately, the painter was meant to cone and repaind 4 weeks ago, and still we have no contact. Then there is Electrician who has still not come back after 8 months to fix the wiring job he did during construction, so I guess we just have to put up with the Safety Switches blowing every time we turn the washing machine on. I will now start handing out brochures at their Display Homes to give an accurate demonstration of the Aaron J Experience.
How did you go with the building commission? I am lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria this week as our ceiling fans are also faulty/under capacity and the ceiling has started to rot (BADLY). They tried to say it was due to cracked roof tiles so I sent my insurance out who said with absolute certainty it is just fans and yet they are still refusing to repair!
Most of the issues we experienced havwe been rectified. Unfortunately, it took legal action at every turn. We had the building commission involved over construction issues, Energy Safe victoria was involved over the bad electrical work and back to the Building Commission and VCAT over the plumbing, Septic not connected and Stormwater pipes that run uphill, and most of it just pooling under the slab. Its unfortunate that when I actually managed to speak with the management, the response I got was that they were far too busy running their multi million dollar company to be dealing with the likes of me.
Fingers crossed Consumer Affairs can rectify if not I will lodge through VCAT,
The business management are now blatantly hanging up on us so it's not even possible to try sort out internally!
