I'm yet to pick it up but have just got a second hand motor for my electric window with a new regulator. Holden were trying to charge me $660 just for the part. Got both from BAS, who were very helpful for $125 and will be happy to let people know how it goes. I had nothing but drama with ABS which is who I "used" to take my car to and nothing but nice things to say about BAS so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way because it's so hard to find decent people in this industry!
Bought a gear box here, which was wrecked when I bought it. I got professionals to put it in 2days later gear boxed had gonked itself again, Gaining no responsibility to the matter Beenleigh Auto Dismantlers turned me down for help. Paid $250 for the gear box, to learn it was gone after putting in to car. I'm an everyday man who had saved the money up for my gearbox to get ripped off without help. IF YOU DO GO THERE GET A RECEIPT AND WARRANTY
You failed to produce the "professional" receipt and when questioned you stated the gearbox squealed for a while and then stopped. This noise is caused by crushing the hydraulic pump when fitting the torque convertor incorrectly. If you had bothered to listen you would have understood thats the ONLY thing we do not warranty. If you did have it fitted by a pro he would have inspected the box prior to fitting and informed you of any problems. Then we could of swapped the unit over until you were happy but for $250 it was a cheap vn v6 auto anyway.
If you did indeed save up for this auto you would also have to save for the fitting and would have got a receipt right?
I do not like this form of un-warranted single sided forum any way ,your comments are defaming my hard earned reputation.

I have been going to there for a while, 1 was for a window, and another for a windscreen wiper motor. both were fine, and worked.
