AB Hotel
The AB Hotel is a stunning place. From the outside, it almost looks humble. Inside AB Hotel has everything all under the one roof. Their main public bar is more of a traditional, comfortable and friendly pub. Then at the top of their beautiful staircase there is their stunning lounge and bar area complete with a very large fish tank counter bar. Their decor is stylish and the crowd young and cool. On top of that, they offer a wide range of beverages and plenty of Vodka choices straight from Russia. If you are looking for a meal, their bistro style Italian restaurant has lots of hearty and quality meals. Visit their website for more information on entertainment and events.

Well, this pub seems to have a bit more character than the last one that I visited, or should I suggest that it is actually more like the type of pub that I would expect in the innercity regions of Sydney. Anyway, the first thing that caught my attention was that they had some trappist beers available (that is beers brewed in a monastry), though they are in bottles as opposed to being on tap, but it was something that you generally don’t get in many of the pubs and bars, unless they are really specialised. The pub itself was nice, and has an outdoor area for the smokers, though I won’t necessarily say that it is one of my all time favourite pubs. Still, it’s nice in its own special way. Oh, and while they do have a VIP lounge, it is downstairs and out of the way, which I also like.
Fairly good. I went to a 21st here and thought it was pretty nice. Unfortunately, the staff can be a little bit non-chalant .
I liked the food though, Tasty and varied pub menu . Good for the price!
The place does get a big crowd but it is a huge venue, so you can find your own space on the many great couches around the place. Good crowd.
Food was not particularly amazing but it was the lackluster attention of the staff/waiters that made the biggest impression. Whilst ordering, the bar staff seemed distracted which lead to incorrect orders and three of the five people at our table having to wait an extra fifteen minutes for their mains to arrive, whilst the other two had started eating their meals already.
I totally agree with you. Food was far from being the "Best Sydney Pub" as they state on their menus.
