Abbeys Auctions

Over the years i have bought some great items from Abbeys,
at what i consider to be very reasonable prices.
Since the change in ownership, some years ago now it has gone from
strength to strength, with the employment of more helpful friendly staff.
The introduction of interbid is the best thing since sliced bread as far as i am
concerned. No more waiting around all day live at the auction for your lots.
Just sit at your laptop and bid!
When i pick up my goods the guys load me quickly and with a smile.

If i could give a minus star review i would. Abbeys is without a doubt the most unprofessional Auction house i have delt with in the world. The way they run their actions is fishy to say the least. They mix junk with a couple of good items and try and sell it. Worst customer service. Rude young guys working there and not to mention the moody woman behind the counter. One customer was complaining about this young auctioneer and when he went away ther just laughed at him behind his back but i watched the same auctioneer do a few dirty deals. He seemed to be favouring bidders and ending lots too early but only when certain people were bidding, but dragging out other lots for no good reason. When it finnally came to my lot the same thing happened i was still bidding but he sold the lot to somone els i complained and got the same treatment as the other guy.
