Owner/ operator Kevin May has been in the asphalt business for over 35 Years, commencing his career with Albion Road and staying in Road Construction before launching his own business in 1989. Able Asphalt in it's current format commenced trading in 1998.
Kevin's emphasis has always been 'Do the Job Right'. Having a Road Construction background makes sure that this is always achieved. The company completes both domestic and commercial projects.
Able Asphalt offers free (detailed) quotations, listing all quantities and qualities of materials that will be used on your project. Also included is a list of previous works completed for any prospective client to view.
The company also offers 12 months warranty on all supplied materials and workmanship. (However, follow up minor repairs can continue for our clients for many years if required).
Able Asphalt can complete your asphalt works complete with brick/ paver or timber edging. Drainage works can also be included as can minor landscaping works.
The company prides itself on completing works to the satisfaction of it's clients and relies heavily on word of mouth referrals.

From the moment Kevin introduced himself, we knew that he was the contractor we were going to choose. He discussed the project in depth with my wife and made her feel confident with what was being offered. No corners cut, no fake claims of performing the impossible. A detailed site inspection was done before to ensure the project would run smoothly. A full timeframe was given of day by day happenings, this was followed to the letter. The driveway (20m x 4) took just on 2 weeks to finish, this allowed plenty of time for the sub base to settle (a good base is key to a good finished product). We were still able to use the driveway in the meantime. I am exceptionally pleased with driveway, so many jealous neighbours. Thanks Kevin once again for all your hard work and professionalism.
