Ramping up towards wholistic well being, safety & independenceAnnette Ford is a registered Occupational Therapist & Lymphoedema Therapist. Annette offers services to veterans and seniors with a physical/cognitive/sensory disability and/or medical condition that impacts their life activities. Consultations are delivered at the client's home/residential care facility and include assessment, treatment programs, liaison with health team/family members and professional reporting. Treatments include comprehensive management of lymphoedema, venous disorders, prescription/fitting of compression bandaging/garments; prescription of and training in the use of equipment and modifications for mobility, seating, safety, access at home and activities of daily living. Services and equipment may be partly or fully funded by Department of Veterans Affairs, Medicare or private health fund.
