Not happy!
They are considerably cheaper than other places. But have had issues with car after taking to two different abs shops! Had noises and vibrations, and poor quality parts after their repair. Took vehicle back but they say they cant hear noises or its something im pretty sure its not. Do not recommend their repair unless u want to save a few dollars now and have costly problems. Trouble is, dont know any reliable affordable, mechanic.
I got a quote of $600 I was willing to pay so long as I was able to have my car ready by 4pm the following day, got a phone call at 1pm saying I needed to replace the timing belt that already had to come off to replace the pump, confirmed I was still getting my car by 4pm so I agreed to pay the extra $250 (labour charge for something that already had to be taken off to reach the pump!).
Got a call at 3:30 to be told the job won't be finished till tomorrow 10:30! Still with no contact I phoned at 1pm the following day to be told another hour, only for me phone again at 2:30 to be told another hour. Finally got a call at 3:30 to say its ready. Could have at least given it a quick vacuum for the stuff around
I would like to thank Kon and the boys at abs Adelaide for there pronto service on fixing our car on xmas eve without a booking we made it on the road by 5 oclock driving to Mildura for xmas break thanks guys we appreciate the overtime you put in as we know you were about to close thanks again Kon
Just wanted to thank the boys for my new tyres, was so impressed I also took my daughters car there for new tyres. Saved me almost half price to what i was quoted elsewere. Got them to service the car also, alot cheaper to what i was normally charged. With all the money i saved I took the family out to Tea, I will be using them for all our vehicles. Thanks!
I took my Holden Captiva (2011) back to the dealership to get new tyres, i was quoted $600+ for one tyre! How can that be when the car is only JUST ONE YEAR OLD? anyway, i refused to pay that! When a friend suggested I try abs Adelaide as they now sell tyres, so i gave them a call and was quoted $350 per tyre. WOW! what a difference! I happily took my car in in the morning, where they gave me a loan car for the day (no charge!) they also threw in a FREE wheel balance! I recommend abs Adelaide to everybody now! They are my new mechanic for all of our family cars!
