Stayed one night here over the summer holidays and was pretty underwhelmed.
This place is hugely popular with young families, but seriously dated.
I'm guessing it was pretty spesh in 1989 when it opened but not much has been done since.
We were down from reception on the lowest level, with no views and a bed that kindly let its occupants roll and meet in the middle.
The bathroom was pretty awful, and really old with rusted fittings.
My salmon at dinner was nice but hubby said his parmy was really ordinary and brekky wasn't much better.
The location is great, right on the beach and good for a walk when the pools are teeming with kids, all having a great time.
Could probably shine again with some serious money spent on it, but otherwise, I'll keep driving...
Stayed here for one night during a business trip. Liked the fact that it was out of the main CBD and off the main highway.
Very quiet and great customer service from check in to check out. Had dinner here also and the rump steak was quite a good meal also.
Room was tidy and clean, bathroom modern and good views even in the hinterland room.
Only down side was that the gym was quite outdated with most of the equipment needing to be replaced.
