Absolute Doors & Windows

Never use this company- We placed an order in April 2012 for window awnings, paid 50% deposit and still have nothing to show for it. Spent most of our time after that in 2012 trying to contact to no avail. We are very keen to catch up with these guys to get our deposit back. We are in the process of lodging a claim with QCAT (small claims tribunal).

Never use this company. We placed an order for 3 casement windows almost 4 weeks ago with a promise that the windows would be ready before Christmas as we had a conversation about how our first baby was due in January and were hoping to finish the project before then.... Thanks so much for taking 50% of our money as we all have 1000's to throw down the drain....

Also as a pure coincidence of talking about this with work colleague also found out her friend ordered louvres from this absolute doors and windows 9 weeks ago.... And they too have the same experience! What makes matters worse is that my friends friend called the louvre company directly and they told her absolute doors and windows had never even lodge there order after 9 weeks....

DO NOT USE !!! Have gone into voluntary administration TODAY - this was on their recorded phone message this morning. They received our 50% deposit for new doors a few weeks ago and up until last week we were still getting promised to fit new doors soon (after we have been chasing them for a while and leaving lots of messages on their phone to contact us but they never did!!) In fact the management finally spoke to us last week with a definite promise to fit the doors before Christmas would you believe? And staff keeps promising the same thing to all customers too!! STAY VERY CLEAR! (We have reported them to ASIC and awaiting the name of their Administrators!)

I used Absolute Doors for Centor screened bi-fold doors and cedar french doors. I must say, I'm in love! The doors took a while to make, but it was well worth the wait. The quality of the doors is outstanding - far and above any other doors that I looked at from other sellers. The doors are beautiful and their service was fantastic. They were in touch with me every step of the way. I will be using them again for my next project soon! Thanks guys at Absolute!

DO NOT USE. A 1-day installation turned into having to take 5-days off work to supervise these people - with no phone calls from the company to explanation, apologies or organize alternative times. Quality of product is bad at best and had to chase for months for paperwork and to finalize parts of the job.
