Rafael quoted $2000 for the job. He said he csn give my mum $200 pensioner discount but would not give a receipt so as to avoid paying tax on the payment. So after believing the problem was fixed, my mum who is a pensioner paid Rafael the plumber $1800 cash. After it was clear he didn't actually fix the problem, he made excuses that he fixed what he thought it was. In the end, he said we need to get an Engineer out to see what the actual problem is. I told him, he should have said that up front before undertaking the job & taking $1800. He gave us a
referral for an Engineer which would cost over $2,000 for them to come out. We asked that he refund her at least part of the money such as $1000 or at least put in drainage to connect to the plumbing into the gutter for the water to escape. However, after ignoring both my sister, my mum's & my messages, we are posting this review to warn others.
