I placed an online order for the Oxford dictionary on the 15/1/2024 for a click and collect, hoping to get an email within the next one or two days to advise that I could go and pick the dictionary up. After a week I called to check to see if I could go and collect the order, only to be told that there was none in stock and that an order had been placed, and that they have no idea when the book will be available, and then can fill the order. As I had made the purchase on a click and collect order, and needed the book for the start of school, I requested for a refund and was told they only provide store credit. I won't be using them again.

Very bad experience, worst experience I ever had as a customer! The moment I walked in I felt very unwelcome. Stone faced, who did not seem to be happy to see me, treated me with suspicion. Asked me to leave my plastic bag on the bench and go straight to the books I was looking for. When I was done selecting the books I I decided to browse some other books. I was not even touching the books he came up to me to remind me that I was not looking at the right books. When I told them that I was just browsing with interest, they literally asked me to stop it! At that point I asked them if they were suspecting me? and told them that I was just interested customer. I told them I can understand their suspicions but its not fair for the customers. At that point they replied that they lose $ 10000 due to theft! Is that my problem and is it fair for them to treat me with suspicion?!
