Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is the centre of excellence for education in game development, 3D animation and visual FX industries in Australia.
AIE was recognised as Australia's Small Training Provider of the Year at the 2007 National Training Awards.
AIE's specialist education is nationally accredited under the Australian Qualification Framework and internationally renowned as one of the world's first to offer qualifications in these industry areas.

AIE courses will equip you with the knowledge and skills to build a career in the dynamic industries of games development, 3D animation and visual FX as well as the increasing number of design, simulation, advertising, engineering and planning industries where 3D graphics are important.
Our courses are practical and industry-driven, teaching cutting-edge knowledge and techniques and delivered by industry-experienced lecturers in a studio environment. All courses offer clear credit pathways to university study along with flexible part-time and online study options.

Our Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra campuses are all co-sited with leading game development studios. As a founding member of the Game Developers Association of Australia, we continue to foster strong connections with local and interactional game developers and have strong links with 3D animation and production studios.

AIE has consistently achieved high employment rates for its graduates since its establishment in 1996. Many of the people making the hiring decisions in these companies are AIE graduates.

AIE has campuses located in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. Applications are based on an interview and portfolio.
