Just last week we came back from our holiday and found our painting (framed by Accent Framers in 2009 ) had fallen and shattered on the floor. The piece of white twine looked like it had snapped. It was hung inside in the middle of the house, so the only thing we could think to have made the painting fall was the twine. We took it back to Accent Framers to see if we could have the frame repaired with no extra cost as it was clearly the twine that had broke. A staff member from the framers said that it couldn't be there fault as it could of been due to either wind blowing into the house (we were on holidays, so the house was shut tight and there was no window in the area of the house the painting was in, for a breeze to come through anyway) and the other reason he mentioned was that mice could have chewed through the twine - which I have never heard of - to think a mouse climbing up a vertical wall to chew on a piece of twine sounded ridiculous, but he was ...read more
