Consigner Beware!!! Do not use this car yard. The owner returned my 4WD two weeks after failing to sell within the four week contract. I was constantly being promised there was a buyer ( it never happened). My vehicle was finally returned, with no spare key, not serviced as was promised, a broken windscreen ( which the owner tried to blame my wife for until she pointed out that he might like to re check the photos his staff took which were online, clearly showing no crack when it was first dropped off.) Also my 4WD failed to start and continued to play up for a couple of days, many phone calls were made to the owner who kept coming up with excuses and porky pies as to why the car was running so poorly. Under no circumstances deal with this lot.
Don't put a vehicle into consignment, they don't take care of it. Got ours back scratched, dirty and internal addons damaged - yet they had still tried to sell it in that state just days prior! I took the car for a test drive and was directed back to the car yard quite quickly but was quite happy with the smooth ride. The rear tyres were bald, so the dealer brought the price down (I later found out through consumer protection that this it is illegal to sell a car with unread worthy tyres). Within a month and a half the car was rattling and the engine light kept coming on. I took it to a mechanic who told me that a coil needs to be replaced ($500) amongst a myriad of other problems, however the most detrimental was a hole in the engine. Following this the car ran fine for month before completely shutting down and not turning on at all. I contacted ...read more
