I have approached Addbuild twice, firstly they built our upstairs addition and they recently quoted on a double-story garage which I didnt accept. The planning and design has been excellent, with great ideas to maximise space according to the budget. They also provided a lot of initial support with Council meetings to get a second story approval in a conservation area where controls are very tight. The actual build was so-so with some trades that I would have preferred not to use. The carpenter was dodgy and made a mess when he measured a corner wrong. The plumber lost his licence therefore had to get to work on public transport and the painter did not prepare the exterior resulting in a lot of repainting by me 5 years after the job was done due to paint peeling. Typical trades and building issues which comes down to selecting the right contractors as a project manager (their main responsibility).

Would not recommend Addbuild at all. Very slow, lack of communication. No scope of works given ever. Very poor supervision by site supervisor who was rarely there as always sick. People left and were on holidays constantly. Lots of GUNNA DO lots of blame on others, lots of reactive work where we would pick up errors and mistakes and they would then sometimes be addressed. SO SLOW. Some work ok some not. So disappointed

Addbuild - rest assured our review is not fake (I can only WISH we weren't living through this nightmare - unfortunately every word of the review is true, and more). I find it disturbing that you dismiss customer complaints as the work of competitors - however this is typical of the attitude and lack of assistance we have seen from your head office to date when we have attempted to resolve very grave and serious complaints. Appalling.

Would not recommend Addbuild. The after build service is absolutely shocking. Once the job is finished and they have your money you do not matter, you are the lowest on the ladder of priorities. We have had issues with the quality of work and I have had to continually call them to find out when they are going to fix the problems, they never know when they are going to come and can not even give you a date. Their response to calls is rude and abrupt. They obviously don't care about word of mouth - I have already told a couple of friends who were considering them to go elsewhere

Worst builder ever. An extension took nearly a year and is still not finished. They kept adding money. Addbuild must mean ADD money to your bill and do a bad job. I will never use these people again
