Great place for a meal out whether its with a partner or a group of friends. Eat with your hands and experience this really relaxed setting run by Zed the super friendly owner who comes out to take your order. We got introduced to this place by another couple about 2 years ago and we've taken so many different groups of friends and family there since and everyone just loves it. Can't rate this place highly enough! You need to book to get in.

My family & friends absolutely love eating at Addis Ababa Cafe! It's a whole dining experience and we (including my 3yr old daughter) love to catchup with Mel & Zed who always make us feel so welcome! It is always service with a smile, the food is awesome - it's so great to try new flavours and combinations of dishes! The coffee is really really good and the atmosphere is fun, cultural and cosy. Everyone should go visit Addis Ababa and enjoy the experience! We highly recommend it :)

I was first introduced to this restaurant by a friend and I have never looked back. Overall I think I have been to this restaurant with about 30 different people now and not one of them has not walked out of the restaurant not absolutely loving it. I love the spicy dishes but even the non spicy ones are delicious, the chickpea dish is amazing. After dinner we normally have a pot of the coffee, definitely a must if you love your strong coffee

Lovely family atmosphere and an awesome experience of the Ethiopian culture... Loved eating with our hands!! Great value for money, especially the banquet which includes refills for no extra cost! Makes for a fun night out with friends!

Amazing.. Truly amazing food! - Excellent atmosphere, super friendly staff, some of best service I have experienced.. You are always greeted with a smile and you'll feel at home.. The food is difficult to describe for those who have never experienced African cuisine, but it is definitely the best I have had and is without comparison in Adelaide. - Highly recommended.. go with a group of people, it's truly a cultural experience that must be shared.. I recommend the Fosalia(3) and the Kitfo(9).. The coffee is also a crowd pleaser.. They have an alcohol licence, but it's BYO only, corkage charges are very affordable! - Bookings essential, especially on weekends.. :) - Don't delay... get in there today.
