Large amount of gourmet produce available. Prices for meat are quite expensive. As are the price for raw nuts. Veggies and fruit great selection and many coffee places to chose from. Security guards there are quite rude and abrupt

Great selection and variety of things ranging from fruit, veggies, seafood, poultry through to cakes, dips and breads. Only downside is it’s so expensive!

I'd call this the best market in Australia. I walked around with my mouth open. It's amazing to think that 90% of the food on sale here comes from within 100km of the market itself. Go, you'll love it!

This is an interesting place to visit. All the locals recommend a visit here as it's the largest undercover market in the Southern Hemisphere. There is a range of stalls, mostly fresh food, eateries, delis and cafes. But there's also some other crafts, flowers, art and antiques. You will definitely find something to take your interest. I can't comment on the pricing though, I'm not sure about that. It would be a good thing to do on a rainy or cold day. It's not open on Sundays, that's a shame.

Adelaidians are so lucky to have the Adelaide Central Market and the fact that there are still times that it is so busy that you can barely move is a testament to the ongoing popularty of it. Under one roof you can find pretty much any ingredient that you could possibly want. Plus a huge variety of stalls selling delicious things to eat. Plus restaurants and cafes. Definitely an easy place to spend a couple of hours.
