Family Medicine in Stirling and BridgewaterThe Adelaide Hills Medical Clinics are well established and respected family medical practices with two surgery locations set in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, approximately 20 minutes from the city of Adelaide. The practice began in 1975 in Bridgewater and later expanded to Stirling.
Eight VR doctors & one GP Registrar work between two surgery locations. Supporting staff include a practice nurse, a practice manager, and reception staff.
The practice is host to a pathology collection center with a full-time enrolled nurse.
We are AGPAL accredited and use Best Practice clinical software. The practice issues private accounts and is non-bulk-billing. Appointments are booked every 15 minutes with emergencies or urgent appointments accommodated. Patients are encouraged to make longer appointments for more complex or multiple issues.

I attended the Bridgewater clinic to have my left ear syringed and a small skin tag removed. Dr Wong declined to syringe my ear, she said to keep using my ear drops and said that I would need to rebook at the Hahndorf clinic to have the skin tag removed. So no treatment or advice. She then wanted to fiddle around and take my blood pressure and so on but I said that was not what I was there for and refused this. I went to reception to arrange the new appointment at Hahndorf and was told the fee for my few wasted minutes with Dr Wong would be $75. I said this was ridiculous as she was unable or unwilling to provide any service (they didn't have the right machine at Bridgewater to cauterise cuts). The very nice receptionist checked. Sure enough. Dr Wong demands payment regardless of performing any procedures, providing any diagnosis or giving any advice.
