Caught up with some friends who also worked in the city and they decided we go here to Adelaide Pho. I had not yet been here before so was keen to try it. I ordered the broken rice combination and it was spot on tasty. It had all the different style of pork meats on the plate (roast pork, shredded pork, pork chop) which was good to see as some other places I've been to before do not have all three options. Keen to come back next time and try their Pho as apparently it's one of the best in Adelaide.
A last minute decision not to cook dinner resulted in us ending up at Adelaide Pho. Great decision. Friendly and efficient service and delicious food. The cold rolls were good and the dried beef salad was tangy. The stand out dish was the salt and pepper squid - some of the best we've had (big call I know!) tender, salt / peppery squid with the great salt, pepper and lemon juice combo on the side. The lemon juice drink hit the spot. The only let down was the Vietnamese chicken salad and that was only because it was drowned in sweet chilli sauce rather than the usual dressing that would have been expected. Despite this I would recommend and I will be back.
