To anyone reading this, please don't pay for quotes. I learned the hard way when I handed over $300.00 + GST for what effectively was a single sheet of paper with words and numbers on it (that did not add up at all). I found Paul to be arrogant, untrustworthy and unpleasant to deal with. I have since started project managing the renovation myself and dealing with lots of trades who do not charge for quotes! I am most likely saving myself thousands of dollars this way.

Even after our first meeting with Paul for a quote we felt confident that we had found someone who was down to earth, honest with a good value base. His knowledge of building and design was evident and he offered sound suggestions for our bathroom renovation. Our job was quite small, but Paul always made us feel that it was as important to him as it was to us. We particularly liked Paul's fastidious attention to detail and his desire to make sure that everything was just what we wanted. If a fitting or finish didn't meet Paul's standards then he knew it wouldn't meet ours so he didn't even bring it to our attention until it was fixed or replaced. If you are looking for a builder who is passionate about his work, who communicates well and who will meet a deadline with a great end result then Adelaide Property Renovations is worth giving you a quote. We will use APR next year for stage 2 of our renos.

Our unit in Adelaide required renovating and I was going to have to deal with a renovator from interstate which could have been very, very stressful. However, we found Paul and from the beginning his attention to detail was meticulous, his work thorough, his input/opinions when needed on colours, bench tops, lighting etc. was professional and appreciated. It was a bit like dealing with someone from the distant past where high standards, honesty and clear communication and reliability were a "given", not a "hoped for". I would highly recommend Paul.
