HOW DO WE CLEAN SOLAR PANELS?
To clean your solar panels we use extended-reach, lightweight, carbon fibre hollow poles that deliver chemical free purified water to bristled brush-heads. After we have cleaned the panels of dirt and debris, we rinse them with pure water, leaving them clean and streak free. As the water we use is both pure and chemical free, it is safe to drink and therefore will not harm your rainwater storage tanks. Solar Panels underperform due to the effects of weathering, the accumulation of dirt and tree debris, bird droppings, dust, pollen, traffic pollution and staining. Rain will not clean your solar panels, just as rain will not clean your car.
Research studies by the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) and the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), have demonstrated that the regular cleaning of solar panels improves efficiency by up to 30%.
