I took my very expensive $800 silk dress that i had bought for a wedding to be cleaned as it had very small amount of water damage on hem to be dry cleaned. I first asked if they had done this sort of dry cleaning before as I was nervous due to the delicate fabric and also the dress had beading on the end of the belt. I was assured that they had cleaned many of this brand before and that they would 'dip it' rather than use the traditional dry cleaning process as this would not remove the water marks on the hem. When I went to collect it I didn't check it and nothing was said to me or put on the docket slip to indicate there was a problem. I couldn't believe it when I examined it at home, the 4 lovely beads at the end of each belt tie were gone and just to add insult to injury none of the water marks had been removed. I was really disappointed with my first visit. The moment I showed the staff at the desk my leather skirt, they completely shut me down and said there was no way of cleaning it. They did not give me any alternative or advice, and it wasn't until I went to another dry cleaner that I received advice to clean it - and it's now perfect.
I wont be going back to Adelaide Suede Cleaners.
