Advance Behavioural Training

Amy's understanding of animals and training techniques are life changing for anyone who has a dog with behaviour problems. I have a basenji with severe anxiety, that leads into full blown panic attacks. I was told by anyone familiar with the breed that you can't train a basenji, and have since found this is not true. Amy showed me that with patience you can train any animal. Learning how to control Nelson's behaviour and his environment have meant he can now do things I would never have believed. He even loves the beach and plays in the shallow waves (basenjis hate water). The best thing about Amy and her team is that you aren't left hanging. Calls for help are always answered and it's great to know you have someone there when you get stuck, to put you back on track again.

To take an 18 month old dog diagnosed by the vet with global anxiety and destined to spend his life on drugs through behavioral training and see his progress into obedience training could not have happened without the help and caring we received when we became part of the ABT family. Jaxx is now undertaking level 4 training and weekly daycare sessions that didnt seem possible 12 months ago. We are still actively working with the team at ABT to ensure Jaxx can enjoy both his human and dog friends without issues or concerns. Next step will be the community canine test and we are confident that with their continued care and committment Jaxx will achieve this goal. Our heartfelt thanks to Amy and her great team.

ABT have done a great job of training my dog (and me!) I didn't think it was possible for Oscar to be a well behaved dog or sit still for just one minute! Now he does both and more!

Oscar is almost finished his level 2 course and I couldn't be prouder. He goes to daycare regularly to see his doggy friends and comes home pooped! The staff at ABT have done a fantastic job of teaching me how to train my dog and have given me invaluable advice throughout.
