We are in a safe, well-lit street with plenty of unrestricted parking directly at our door. From the City Link exits take Racecourse Rd west and turn immediately left into Stubbs St (Orange Kennards Storage Building on the corner). My dogs condition was not taken seriously and they charged me an extreme amount to end up not knowing what was wrong. It wasn't just the out of hours fee- there was a "diagnosis fee" but they had no clue what was wrong and lots of other "hidden" fees. It also was a long wait for an emergency appointment- at 2am! Had to take my dog to local vets the next day where her condition was properly diagnosed. She has a bad allergy. All the time I was there I was freaking out and instead the staff spent time gossiping and ignoring my dog before finally checking me in. It was a very rough night and have to wonder if there's a lot of trainees on at night as no one seemed informed. My local vet picked up what was wrong in 5 minutes and it took these guys nearly 45 minutes to have no clue- after a 2 hour wait.
I took my little chihuahua in as she had meningitis. This occur late at night & I was glad there was a 24hour vet emergency available. Staff over the phone assisted & guided me through & answered all my questions before I took her in. When I arrived, receptionist handle all documents and knew who i was already. They explained to me her condition & what needs to be done for recovery. So i never felt uncertain which allowed me to trust the staff at all times. My chihuahua recovered with the medication provided & I am forever grateful for the staff & service provided by Advanced Vetcare.
What can I say. This place is as good as a 24hour hospital gets. My dog was hit by a car a few years ago and thankfully they were open 24 hours and they managed to save my dog with their professional treatment. They were very supportive of the situation. My family and I are so grateful. We definitely recommend this place to anyone and are so blessed that they are open 24/7.
The doctor was available the next day to explain all our options and prospects of success.
