Safety Tactile Pave - Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI)
Affirmative Group have now added to their already extensive range of products a New and Improved CONCRETE Tactile Paver. Tactile Ground Surface Indicators are an Australian made CONCRETE reinforced cautional & directional tile initially designed to assist the visually impaired but now has a wider and more varied range of uses.
At a thickness of just 2mm, the tile is virtually laid flush over existing surfaces reducing the danger of tripping hazards.
Made in accordance to Australian Standard 1428.4 the tile is hardwearing and durable. Installation requires minimal disruption without having to consider excavation, cutting or drilling. Once laid on any substrate surface, the area is trafficable again within 2hrs providing weather constraints aren?t present.
These have recently been laid to Success Hill Train Station, East Perth Train Station , City of Wanneroo and The City of Joondalup to name a few.
