Sheree Holland, Principal/Psychologist of Affirmative Psychology established this "niche" private psychology practice so that the wider community could more easily access quality mental health care and services. Affirmative Psychology has the capability to BULK BILL clients under financial stress (*GP referral, and upon presentation of Health/Concession card). Psychotherapeutic strategies, treatments, interventions, skills training and psycho-education are tailored to address a wide range of mental health concerns, (for example: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, pain management and cancer support, grief and loss; relationship and interpersonal difficulties, harrassment, bullying, stress, etc), life coaching, personal development. Treatments provided to clients from teenagers through to Seniors.

For more than a decade Sheree has worked with the long term unemployed referred to her for a variety of mental and/or physical health conditions. Sheree started her career in mental health at Lifeline in 1996 as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Counselor, and then formalised her qualifications to become a registered Psychologist. She was conferred with a double degree (Bachelor of Arts (Psychology/Bachelor of Business (HRM)); and a Postgraduate Diploma (Psychology).

Specialisations: Workplace bullying, preferred employee assistance program provider (fly-in fly out workers), mindfulness, resilience and strengths based approaches, Positive Psychology. She is a strong proponent in human potential and in "being the best version of yourself that you can be"!
