I took my iPhone there as it had a problem with the headphone jack. The earphones wouldn't plug in properly and any sound I got out of it was very weak and tinny. I cleared it out in case it was dust, but the problem still remained. The guy at AFM phones quoted me $85 to fix it, and told me it would be repaired and I could pick it up a week later. I figured I'd rather pay $85 and have my phone back quickly, rather than go through the lengthy process of sending my phone away to Apple. A week later I ring them to make sure it's in before I go pick it up and I was informed it hadn't even arrived at their technician. A couple of days after that the guy messages me and says there is a problem with the main board and it will cost $200 to repair. I said no and he said that he'll get the phone back from the technician in 3 days. A week later and still no phone. Purchased a battery from this store which was defective. Took it back the following day and they refused to provide me with a refund, eventually saying that it was just bad luck. I remained in the area and began to inform their potential clients of this policy and attitude, whereby they began to swear and threaten me for turning away those customers as they were loosing business.

They use cheap parts but charge ridiculous prices, and when the repairs dont work they basically say tough luck must be another problem, with no credit or refund for thier so called 'repair'.
