Adjoining Classic Cinema is an authentic Polish restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. After The Tears is decked out in antique furniture, gilt mirrors and soft candlelight making it the kind of place you want to linger. However they do cater to movie-goers with a separate express menu. After The Tears serves classic Polish dishes such as borsch, pierogi and strudel, and boasts a large selection of vodkas.

Now that Vodka Borsch and Tears has moved to Chapel St, After the Tears takes over with its quirky fun atmosphere and Eastern European cuisine. The pierogi were yummy and cooked to perfection. If you are planning to come before a movie at the Classic, allow plenty of time so you don't have to rush.
My husband and I love the food here. To be honest, we have never had amazing service but the tapas and atmosphere make up for the lacking. Would suggest to visit during the week. The two time setting on weekends does not seem to work well - especially if the table u have booked at 8:15pm for the late setting is still occupied the people who were meant to be out by 8 and they don't want to get rid of them!!! Once again, the tapas is great and the quirkiness of the atmosphere is unique.
