Both the Vineyard and Winery are set high on the hill with panoramic views of Tamborine Mountain. Enjoy Devonshire Teas and lavish lunches on their spacious verandahs, or dinner in the spectacular Auchenflower Ballroom. Live jazz is available during lunch hours every Sunday and Public Holidays.
Boutique Wineries, by definition are those whose wines are only available for purchase directly from the winery, such is the case with Albert River Wines.
As their wines are only available through the cellar door, mail order, and at select restaurants, a trip to Albert River Wines is a worthwhile experience, whether you are an avid connoisseur or casual quaffer. Albert River Wines are handcrafted in limited quantities by winemaker Peter Scudamore-Smith, one of Queensland's two Masters of Wine.

Love Albert River Wines! The views are stunning, the old homesteads are beautiful and so well maintained, the atmosphere is perfect and the food is delicious!! The wine is also very good!! They have great lunch specials on the weekend too, which are great if you are out for a relaxing drive to call in when you go past! I had the cooked salmon and my fiance had the lamb shanks, so delish! Will be back again soon!
Have heard good reports when only 2 or 3 people go to eat, but the 2 times I have been as a group of 12 to 16 people I was absolutely disgusted both times I have refused meals because of the time it has taken to cook a steak 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.The entre and meals were unsatisfactory and burn't or cold. 1 person had the misfortune of both her entre and main having hairs in it and when a complaint was made about 4 meals not being served it took another hour for the meals to be replaced.I and the 15 people I had the meal with will never set foot in there again.As I've said, this was the SECOND time this had happened to us and really made the 80th b'day party we were there for a b'day we'd rather forget.
