Alberts Tavern

I've been to this bar a couple of times and it really isn't a place that fills me with enthusiasm, especially when compared to a lot of better establishments within a short walking distance. Okay, I only came here for a drink, but I also go for the atmosphere, and unfortunately this is where this place is lacking. Basically it is a pretty tacky establishment with a rather bland selection of beers and the only reason that I returned was to check it out again before I posted my True Local review. However, even if I do land up back in North Sydney next time I will probably just walk straight past this place. Mind you, the only reason that I found this place initially was that I walked past it and decided I might stop by and have a drink, however I doubt I'll be doing that again – the lack of atmosphere is what put me off.

Alberts burgers are amazing American wagyu is my favourite but they are all super delicious .

Good after work bar. Seems to have the balance right in that it always seems busy but you can get served really quickly. Much better option than the Firehouse next door.

a nice place to catch up after work however be warned, once you are in their it is very difficult to leave! The staff are efficient and very helpful and the menu is varied, well presented and very good for a pub
