Alchemy Tattoo Studio - Hawthorn

Although the people at the studio were very nice and patient with myself and a girlfriends who spontaneously showed up to the studio with an hour before closing, and by the looks and sound of things the artists at the studio do some incredible work, however from my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend this studio.

I think it was very obvious that my friend and i didn't know much about tattoos and i would have appreciated if the artists were much more informative and helpful about everything from the consultation, to the size and placement of our tattoos to the aftercare, this would have made a big difference to my ...read more

well getting a tattoo has been a distant dream until I stumbled upon Alchemy studio...cannot compliment the staff enough. I must say that I was dreading the process but in the end I don't regret doing it. The whole experience was amazing given the staff were so friendly and the work that Cassie did was shockingly good. I had a concept and she executed to perfection, (even better that I imagined ;) . I would highly recommend her if you are after portraits as apparently after chatting and working with her, thats her thing. As for me if in the future I intend to do any more work, I would not go anywhere else. Go there folks you won't be disappointed.

Spent 2 years searching for the right studio and artist for a piece I've been thinking of for years. Cassi took my design and made it even better. Great studio with friendly and helpful staff and Cassi's work is very high standard, the only place I will go for work even now I am interstate. Cant wait to get back in the chair at Alchemy. Mike

The team at Alchemy are great. I have receieved nothing but good customer service and honest opinions. Got a tattoo on my ankle and was worried alot of the colour would fall out because I work on my feet and the tattoo on my ribs (another studio) was a real b**** whilst healing. The tattoo had minimal fall out and even survived a rash that left scaring on the rest of my leg. The colours are just as vibrant a year later despite me being a sun lover.



Can't wait to go back and get another tattoo and work with the new artisits they've brought in.

I can't recommend Alchemy tattoo studio enough.

I had researched lots of tattoo studios and I decided that Alchemy would be the place for me to get my first tattoo. I couldn't really articulate the details of the tattoo I wanted as I'm really not artistic. Fortunately my artist Cassie understood what I wanted and drew up a few sketches for me to choose from. Cassie was very knowledgeable and answered all my "silly" questions about the tattoo process. I chose one of her designs and couldn't be happier with the result. Every one of my friends has commented on how amazing and lifelike my tattoo is - I can't wait to get some more work from Cassie.
