Alconex fire recommended my apartment fire door be replaced because of a small crack.
After they had compleated the job I noticed they had used a water based paint that does not match any of the other units in the building, they also left many dags in the paint and done an all around terrible job.
After this I was a little suspicious so I did some further checking, only to find they had replaced my fire rated door with a standard $100 door from Bunnings.
When I brought this to the managers attention he refused to acept any responsibility for his company's work and said he would not be talking to me further.
I would not trust this company to be in charge of anything as important as fire safety as they can not even paint a door correctly. Let alone the fact that they replaced a fire rated door with a standard door.
