Aldi

Although Birkenhead might have been known for its factory outlet stores, Aldi is not going to let Coles take the whole supermarket share in this area and so they decided to open a store here in the centre too. The shop is located away from the factory outlet stores and requires a travelator access to a lower area where there is only Aldi.

I went and visited this store on one Saturday afternoon and this Aldi is a lot quieter than most of the Aldi stores I have ever been with — perhaps no one is going to this shopping centre to buy groceries. This is somehow a good thing as there are less people which makes it more spacious, browsing a lot easier, and paying a lot quicker. The place is set just like the usual Aldi style, and it is very clean. They also have the liquor section available near the checkout.

No complaints ! This Aldi is in an area of the Birkinhead Point shopping centre. For some reason it always seems quieter than other Aldi shops, that's why I like it. You've still got the same stock and you can return things you're not happy with.
