Aldi

Another store I was happy to see come to point cook. Very competitive pricing when compared to Coles and Woolies. Great way to cut down the grocery bills. I find it's always good to do a quick sweep though Aldi for a produce price check before shopping at the bigger supermarkets to save where you can. There have been a few products which I've found were not as tasty as the brands we have grown up with, but for the most part (eg: the frozen puff pastry is terrible) but the majority of the Aldi branded products are just as good if not better than regular popular brands. My favourites include; Brooklea Chocolate Stampede Custard, Farmwood Tempura Style Nuggets, Confidence Toilet Paper & Napkins, cowbell & Westacre cheese.

Absolutely brilliant, what can I say!

I started off buying just the basics from aldi to save a little cash but now that their variety of products has expanded I am finding that I can do nearly all my shopping here for about half of the cost of normal retailers!

As mentioned variety of this particular outlet is fantastic and to this day I have yet to try an Aldi product that I didn't prefere over the more expensive known name brands.

Shop is always clean and well stocked and staff are speedy, helpful and very friendly.
