Aldi

While shopping at Aldi yesterday I was subjected to extreme rudeness from one of the male staff when I very politely told him the water he had left along the aisle was very slippery. Later at the check-out when I spoke to him about it, the rudeness continued. When I asked to see the Manager he told me he was the manager ..... I asked if there was anyone above him, and was told "Of course there is, but it won't do you any good". At last another male employee came out, he didn't ask what the trouble was ... nor what I was complaining about. I'm not even sure he was the Store manager and when told he would speak to the staff member, I had the impression that they would have a good laugh at my expense.
Is this the price to pay for "cheap" groceries? I'm quite sure that I wouldn't have received such treatment from Management at Coles or Woolworths!
Money spent on TV advertising is wasted when customers suffer abuse when shopping in an Aldi store. I will not be back!

Don't bother. Disgraceful customer service - left the store after being ridiculed and humiliated by 2 staff - all because I asked for help to take $400 in purchases out of the store. How hard is it to be nice to people seeking assistance - staff can't help because they are not covered "if they get hurt" outside the front door. Oh please. Even if true, the message can be delivered in a way that doesn't abuse and make fun of people.
And no, they weren't kids - mature age adults with attitude.
Will never darken their doorstep again.
