have too many bad experiences with the electrical appliances at aldi recently that i would not purchase them anymore, this has included various electric kitchen applicances and hardward tools (drop saw, blenders, etc) all of which i had hardly used when they broke down and all just out of end of warranty dates,(one including just 2 days out of warranty and aldi and the manufacturing company would not extend the warranty even for 2 days)which was very dissapointing. the other issue with the warranty procedures is that you are not alaways offered a replacement product and instead just a refund. i love the sustainable seafood policy of their seafood products and the range of organic grocery items and nappies still. staff at the checkout are either friendly or not. store is still too small for amount of floorstock making it a massive challenge to get through aisles especially with a trolley hopefully when new store opens at Burwood east it will be larger! If you are bamboozled by the sheer smorgasbord of different-brand-same-food available at your usual supermarket, give Aldi a try! It's actually cheaper than buying water. Beyond groceries and alcohol, Aldi also stocks an eclectic mix of other items such as microwaves, ironing boards, beach balls, Halloween costumes and assorted random useful stuff. products here are a lot cheaper than elsewhere and of good quality. the warranty service is great - they once sent a courier to my house to pick up a toaster oven, repaired it, then brought it back to my home and later called to check if i was happy with service.aldi's nappies are as good as huggies and heaps cheaper, their tools/hardware items are also good quality and affordable prices. the brandon park store is a little small/squashy/busy but worth it for the good quality bargains.
