Alex Ross Automotive

I'm never going back. Rang and asked for a quote, got told they can't do them over the phone & to bring the car in so they can look at it (not a problem, I do just that) After taking it in, and having them look the car over, get told they still can't give me a quote. I was warned by a neighbour that they do this, should have listened. They offered no solutions or suggestions in getting what I needed fixed so my car could pass a pink slip, it now needs a blue slip. Worst customer service i've had in a long time

Couldn't even fix a blown tail light. Told me the problem was the wiring which cost me $300, went from one tail light to every light on the back playing up, they even managed to rewire it wrong and my reversing light was the ones blinking not my blinkers.

Then they claim I need a set of new tail lights after I took it back there twice which they wanted me to pay another $300 for there incompitence, anyhow I took it to another mob and they had it fixed within a hour and didn't replace anything and cost me $70, they actually couldn't believe how poor a job Alex Ross automotive done.

Well, I'm not happy,my car was booked in for a power steering oil leak,radiator flush and brake pad change,nothing serious just basic work,I dropped the car off at 9.00am,by 4.30pm I hadn't heard anything so I rang,they said your car is ready for pickup, I get there at 5.00pm pay $300 and go home,next day I check under the hood,there's no power steering fluid in the resovoir so I topped it up and it started leaking again, I checked my radiator it needed topping up to,there was no sign of green fluid at all in radiator, not happy,you've lost me and I will be telling people not to go there, standards have definitely dropped.

After being told this business is the best around I'm extremely disappointed! They had my ute for 3 days and it came home with multiple exhaust leaks! 3 months later I've had to take it to another local exhaust shop and they've fixed all their stuff ups in 1 day and at half the price Alex Ross Automotive cost me! Not impressed!!!

After recently having a bad experience with another mechanic (I only took it there because of no other reason than proximity to work), I realised there is only one mechanic I trust, and Alex Ross is definitely it! I'd rather take a day off work and take it there than get ripped off elsewhere!
