Looks like the old owners left a lot to be desired but my experience with the new owner recently was great. I got my measurements wrong but they took the glass back and cut it again at no extra cost. They were friendly and efficient. I recommend them ...

My first review of these guys was so harsh it didn't make it past the moderators. So bear in mind, whatever you take away from this review and the others on this page, the reality is much worse. Alexandria Glass's website boasts of its friendly staff. They are not friendly, they are weird and terrifying.

We needed some shower glass and showed them a design for a shower box. We dealth with the receptionist, who failed to recommend the correct type of fixings, despite having them in stock. So we ended up having to pay for an extra piece of glass to remedy that. Signed up to TrueLocal especially to review Alexandria Glass. After reading the only other review, I almost need say to no more. Went to Alexandria Glass with a shelf that was slightly too big for my needs. Opened the office door to find a reception staff chatting with another staff, both behind the counter. Stood there waiting, holding the giant piece of glass while they finished their conversation for nearly 15 mins without any acknowledgement from either of them. When the reception staff finally turned to me, it was like I had so severely inconvenienced them with my very presence that they snapped "Yes?" Began to explain my needs and they cut me off mid sentence and said "We don't do customer orders". I was so confused by the comment that I had no idea what to say. Several tradespeople told me to go to Alexandria Glass to get a simple mirror splash back installed, so we gave them a call. It was for a straightforward job that should be $700 or less and within 1k of their business premises.
