Has gone way downhill, but prices have gone up. $16 for 8 marshmallow sized chicken pieces is an absolute joke.

In terms of atmosphere, you would never bring a date here, although outside is much better; but if you would like to eat well and at fair prices, then this hidden gem is worth noting in your electronic diaries. From standard fish and chips to Japanese, fresh rolls to all sorts of hot food - the range is something surprising - from Asia to Australia to Greece... The food is just great and so very much cheaper than at a restaurant. The only ''issue'' is that it is in the Alfred Hospital. But, hey - I visit at least once a fortnight for food and sometimes for a great cuppa.
