Recently attended for a private function. The manager needs a few lessons in communication and customer service. As I was walking towards the private room with my husband and child, I was approached infront of everyone in the restaurant who were all looking at us and told I was inappropriately dressed. It was embarrassing and could have been dealt with in a very different way. We were afterall attending a costume party and I was not informed that having my belly button exposed was not allowed. Embarrassing someone in that manner she did is not acceptable and I will not ever attend this venue again. Perhaps they should not allow costume parties if they are so concerned about their dress code.
All seems o.k. until you have a legitimate issue with the food or service. The poorly trained senior staff have no idea how to handle customer complaints. They seem to view it as personal criticism and adopt a hostile attitude bordering on aggression. Don't even think about changing your pre-paid, unopened bottle of red wine for a white, even before it's off the shelf! I did, and encountered a hostile, bossy, "staff" who told me the club manager had instructed the staff that they must not allow changes of mind under any circumstances! This person actually seemed to take some pleasure from conveying this wonderful example of customer service. Knowing I would get little satisfaction from pursuing it, I waited until the meal was finished before raising the problem with the kitchen staff.
