Worst dining experience ever. We went to the RSL with an interstate friend, my partner and I are locals, as we thought it would be a nice meal. How embarrassed we were. I would never serve such set of meals to anyone in my house, so how is this acceptable in a dining establishment. Meal 1: The fish and chips. stale oil, poorly deep fried resulted in a oil-logged stodgy sad serve of fish and chips, soggy and full of oil accompanied by a poor excuse for aioli. Meal 2: Scotch fillet steak, mash and veg. Probably the worst offender, mash potato that could well have been instant potato with what were originally frozen, packet vegetables thrown in a pan of boiling water, resulting in a super soggy, waterlogged pile of veges (can\'t really call then veges), which were actually still frozen on the inside despite their flaccid exterior.
