I can tell you dogs do not get exercised 3 times a day here and most are not socialised due to risk of injuries to staff or other dogs, it’s all a lie!
They are lucky if they get 5 mins outside to toilet while their own pen is being cleaned once or twice a day and worse if it’s bad weather outside.
Also Staff don’t run dogs outside they don’t like and some dogs are treated poorly due to their behaviour or breed.
Dogs that refuse to go back into the pens are dragged back in by the lead and dogs are forced to skip meals if they are over weight and not eating due to stress ect.. also toys/blankets/treats that are provided by owners are never given to your dogs while they are here!
“Premium accommodation” what a joke that is! These dogs never even get to touch the grass and all dogs are locked up for the night around 3pm. This is not a pet resort it’s a pet prison!
for the very first time in 11 years i took my girl to stay with this kennel for just over 3 weeks as I went to Italy.
I initially picked them as the kennel of choice due to 2 factors:
1 – they have indoor kennels and are central heated
2 – they get to play and exercise and, as my girl is a working dog breed, this was a huge factor for me.
I was extremely anxious about leaving her and throughout my holiday in Italy I was really nervous.
But I was safely assured not too worry and that she’ll have a blast. In fact, she sure did!
When I went to pick her up at 9.30am on a Monday, she was in the backyard playing with other dogs and wasn’t as excited to see me as I thought she would be!
This was a sure sign that she was taken care of extremely well throughout her 3 weeks and I was absolutely stoked!
She will definitely go back again. So thank you!
Yes the Kennel has new owners and they were amazing.
It was clean and smelt fresh and all the staff were extremley affectionate towards the dogs.
We picked out baby girl up and she didnt want to leave! we live inner city so she loved the extra space. I called and was kept updated how she was doing which gave me peace of mind.
Sge was also fed extra due to the amount of energy she was burning off playing and running with the other dogs. Would highly recommend this buisness to anyone.
Our cats are our babies and we make sure they are comfortable and at ease when we go away. They took very good care of our two cats and observe even the smallest changes in them. The cattery is super clean, spacious and even the other cats seems relaxed in their boarding environment. I usually get anxious thinking how they cope but when I leave them here I do not worry as they care for them as their own. They are particular about what we feed and happy to give medication if needed. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for second "holiday" home for their precious furry babies! The staff here genuinely love what they do and spend time with you getting to know what your cats like and don't and your preferences.
I can't comment on the conditions or service, it seems "All Breeds", is not in fact all breeds ....... I called to make a booking for my English Staffy and they said They do not allow Staffy's to stay! My lovely little girl has stayed many times in kennels all up and down the coast, and many times stays with her minders in their home as they come to love her so much. I might also like to add, that I called them because they picture Staffy's on their web page......hhuummmmm... Your loss, so called "All Breeds".
Hi Jennie, we're very sorry you find our policy of not taking Staffies or their crosbreeds a surprise. Our kennels is very different from most kennels in that we exercise the dogs in groups regularly throughout the day . Our experience has show us that Staffies suffer from separation anxiety more than any other breed. This manifests itself in may ways but is most obvious when the dogs are exercised in groups. For this reason it is not an issue in most kennels or home-care environments. This anxiety causes the dogs to injure themselves trying to get though fences to be with people or other dogs even if they already are in a group of dogs. It can also cause issues with aggression when dogs are stressed. This is why we do not accept these breeds. We are fully aware that we may turn away some lovely dogs but we have found the overwhelming majority of Staffies do not cope in this environment. After all we are not in this business for the huge financial rewards, we do it ...read more
Thats strange because i just called to book my dog in for next week, told them it was a staffy and it was fine? Also told them he wasnt good with other dogs! Perhaps they have since had new owners? If the owners could please respond to confirm this?
