I am not usually a donut fan but I recently decided to give this place a try. Their donuts is shaped and looks like a donut from the Simpsons. They are pink and round! The donut I had tastes awesome and much better than the ones at krispy kreme which I also think is good. If you are ever in the area and feel like a Simpsons donut and I strongly recommend that you give this place a try!
I am not a great fan of doughnuts, although the original version thereof - Greek loukoumades - are amazing when hot and drizzled with honey. This doughnut was good but I would have loved to have one with less icing - it was drowining in that stuff - and I would have preferred to buy a hot one with a cup of coffee. If you are a big krispy kreme eater like me, you will find the donuts slight bit dry. But of you hate krispy kreme, then they will be your favourite. The strawberry icing is the softest donust topping you will come across, it was just the donut which was tad too dry for me
I'm currently searching for the best donut in Melbourne so this popped into my life at just the right time. All in all this was a good donut. Yeasty, yummy. Fluffy in all the right places, even the next day as I ate one for breakfast. I got the picturesque pink one, and while insta-worthy, I'm just not really a fan of that artificial strawberry flavor (am I the only one that feels like it's like eating lip gloss?!). I would definitely give these another shot with a different frosting option.
