In keeping with the relaxed vide of North Stradbroke Island, one of Queensland’s best-kept secrets, Domain Stradbroke Resort is a collection of 82 stylish Beach Shacks and Villas. Incorporating lightweight building materials, in the tradition of classic Queensland beach houses, these iconic bungalows will ensure your Domain Resort’s break is both relaxing and enjoyable. Besides accommodation, Domain Stradbroke offers a number of modern facilities that ensure everything is needed for your time spent on Straddie. These include a modern Cafe and General Store, heated swimming pool, gym, children’s playground, tour desk service and Executive Meeting Room.
Beautiful island accommodation. We stayed in a two story bungalow, with cosy queen bed in the upstairs loft. Plenty of movies available via cable into the bungalows, a restaurant on location, or equipped enough to cook for the family in the bungalow. Answering service/voice mail to each bungalow so that enquiring friends could keep up with your movements, which was helpful given that mobile phone range on the island was nearly impossible. Right across the road from the beach and minutes from some of the highest points on the island, offering incredible views of the ocean, and toward the Aus mainland. The resort staff could not have been friendlier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Domain Resort, on North Stradbroke Island.
