Decided to get hardwood flooring done for my unit and stumbled over All Style Flooring while looking around Brookvale. First impression: Award winning, established, local family business, great shop with great selection and at least initially great service. Decided to go with them, even though the quote was slightly on the higher side and the owner did not showed up for the 1st measure and quote. We agreed to start the following week which never happened. This was followed by four more no-shows over a two weeks period. Most of the times I had to call and chase things up, only to get a colourful mix of excuses. After three weeks of rescheduling and living in an empty living room, I finally decided to cancel the job and ask for my deposit back. The best flooring shop in Sydney by far! Having visited nearly every carpet and timber shop on the Northern Beaches, we were blown away with the excellent service and advise offered by David at All Style Flooring. He arrived when he said he would, brought the samples to us, was very polite and couteous and gave us some alternative options to improve our home, ready for selling. The prices were very competitive and the flooring was installed in a very professional manner, on time. We have recommended the store to many of our friends and I have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone wanting to buy carpet or timber or any other flooring. I am not surprised that they have won so many awards. They deserve it.
Very friendly and helpful... until you've paid them. Ripped up carpet before realising that they didn't have enough stock to finish the job (and couldn't get anymore) Picked new stock and spent the night on a concrete slab. New (cheaper) boards went in. Took a month to get balance from cheaper boards back, even longer for them to come and join the carpet. No show twice, when they finally turned up they told my partner that they didn't have the right tools for the job. Carpet is still sticking up. cornices have since fallen away from the wall. Would get them back but just don't want to deal with them anymore.
